ARE LOOKING FOR:
DAY SERVICE CO-ORDINATOR
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
* Take a leadership role in the Day Service
* Support the CEO to monitor, ensure effectiveness and improve
performance standards in accordance with the Cumas New Ross philosophy
and all relevant statutory and HSE requirements, keeping her/him
informed of issues and challenges as they occur.
* Assist the CEO in monitoring and reviewing policies and
procedures, including New Directions standards and future HIQA
regulations for day services.
* Participate and contribute as a member of the Senior Management
Team in the strategic direction and Key Performance Indicators of the
organisation in line with its stakeholders and its Vision and Mission.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS REQUIRED:
* QQI Qualification in Social Care, Applied Social Studies or other
relevant qualification
* Minimum of three years supervisory/ management in the area of
Healthcare or Disability Services
* Experience of working with New Directions, National Standards for
day Services and the National PCP Network Standards or Framework
* Experience in change implementation and change management
* Full clean driving license
* Experience working within an adult disability setting
* First Aid Responder Training
* Safeguarding Awareness Training
* Manual Handling and People Moving
DESIRABLE SKILLS:
* Qualification in Management
* Knowledge of the Assisted Decision Making (Capacity) Act
* Fire Safety Training
* Management of Actual or Potential Aggression (MAPA)
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
